Porra, parece brincadeira.

Acabei de escrever o post anterior, e fui dar uma pesquisada sobre o Robert Pollard, o ex líder do Guided by voices, pra ver as novidades e tal, e olhem com o quê eu me deparo:

When things came to an end for GBV, Pollard promised that this would not mean the end of his songwriting and recording career. It actually provided a fresh start. In leaving his band behind, Pollard was able to free himself from the expectations of "the next Guided By Voices record", allowing him to record when he wanted and what he wanted, with whomever he wanted.
FROM A COMPOUND EYE é o nome do cd/lp lançado pela "merge" (que lançou cds de bandas como Arcade fire, Spoon, ..And you know us by the trail of dead, Neutral milk hotel, Teenage funclub, Superchunk etc.) dia 24 de janeiro do ano que vem (ainda?).Mas eu, como uma fã incondicional, já estou tratando de baixar, já tou inclusive ouvindo alguma coisa, a faixa Field jacket blues, que não foge nada ao estilo do bom e velho GBV.

Façam suas apostas pro Tim Festival ano que vem.
